it's no wonder why so many of us are in denial.

well, in answer to your ? I"d have to say that it is easier for someone to tell us what we already know because somehow its easier to accept from someone else, but then you have people who are like me and have to do it all the hard way even after they have been told over and over again. :)

that's why it's easier to just be someone elses sounding board.
but then again,
what the hell we have a life time to perfect chasing our tails.
